The Pentair Triton C - TR140C, 36" Heavy Duty Commercial Pool Sand Filter is powerful and efficient, is the recommended filter for commercial pool applications.
Its internals and sand bed are designed to deliver an even flow and efficient filtration capacity for beautiful, sparkling water. Its large 7.06 sq. ft. filter area requires maintenance less often, saving you time and money by extending time between cleanings.
Engineered for superior strength, its single-piece tank is made with fiberglass for durability that can withstand the harsh elements of a pool environment. The Triton C Side Mount Sand Filters can be used in tandem installations and are ideal for applications that require higher water flow.
Note: This tank requires 275 lbs of pea gravel, 650 lbs of #20 silica sand, totaling 925 lbs of media. With a max flow rate of 141 GPM.

Save time and energy by using a Sand Filter! Sand filters require only basic backwashing maintenance to keep them running well, leaving you more time to sit back and enjoy your clean pool.
Sand Filters capture dirt and debris in the tiny gaps between sand particles. As the space between the particles fills up, water pressure builds. Cleaning the filter is as easy as switching the water flow and backwashing the debris safely out of the pool and filter. Sand should be replaced every 5-8 years.
