Black algae is one of the most difficult varieties of algae to control and eliminate. This algae can appear as a blackish discoloration or a tar-like deposit. In either case, it is a problem to remove because of the physical nature of this algae. Leslie's Black Algae Killer eliminates and prevents Black Algae. Visible Algae Growth Dosage: 12 ounces per 10,000 gallons of water.
Leslie's Black Algae Killer controls the growth of algae in swimming pools. Brush algae spots prior to application. If necessary, brush once each day for two days following application. Before applying, adjust pool water pH to 7.2-7.8 as determined by a suitable test kit. Apply this dosage into the water around the edge of the pool. Do not concentrate the application in only one area.
