Spa, hot tub and whirlpool bath heaters with 2"" heater tubes use these 2"" MBT tailpiece connector with O-ring to connect a 2"" spa heater tube to the 2"" PVC pipe. 2"" tailpiece threads are 2"" MBT, which actually measures 3"" outside diameter to mate with standard spa heater 2"" union nuts, such as the HU-2FBTSN.
